Discrimination Regulation 2016

This regulation is the Discrimination Regulation 2016.

An assistance animal must be—

accredited as an assistance animal—

under a law of a State or Territory; or

by an organisation that trains animals to assist a person with disability to alleviate the effect of the disability; or

trained to—

assist a person with disability to alleviate the effect of the disability; and

meet the standards of hygiene and behaviour that are appropriate for an animal in a public place.
