11 Selling or supplying fake identifying microchips
(1)
A person commits an offence if—
(a)
the person sells or supplies a microchip to someone else; and
(b)
the person represents to the other person that the microchip is an identifying microchip; and
(c)
the microchip is not an identifying microchip.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(2)
An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
