16I Independent advisers
(1)
The DFVR coordinator may appoint a person as an independent adviser—
(a)
on the request of an advisory committee, to assist the committee in the exercise of its functions; or
(b)
on the coordinator’s own initiative, to assist the coordinator in the exercise of the coordinator’s functions.

(2)
An appointment may be subject to conditions stated in the appointment.
