128 Entitlement to vote
Subject to subsection (2), an elector enrolled for an electorate is entitled to vote at an election for the electorate.
A person who is enrolled is not entitled to vote at an election unless they will be at least 18 years old on the day the poll for the election is required to be held.
The inclusion of the name of a person on a certified list of electors for an election is conclusive evidence of the person’s right to vote at the election.
The omission of the name of a person from a roll because of official error does not disqualify the person from voting.
In a roll or a certified list of electors, an omission of a given name, or an error in a name, does not disqualify an elector from voting.
An elector whose surname has changed is not disqualified from voting under a former name entered for the person on a roll or certified list of electors.
