Ascertaining result of poll

In force

(1)

The commissioner shall arrange for—

(a)

the further scrutiny of the ballot papers referred to in section 184 (1) (b) (i) and (2) (a); and

(b)

the ascertainment of the successful candidates;

in accordance with schedule 4.

(2)

If it is necessary to do so for schedule 4, the commissioner shall—

(a)

determine the numbers of ballot papers or votes; or

(b)

calculate a quota or transfer value; or

(c)

identify a candidate.
