289 Discrimination on grounds of certain gifts
A person shall not discriminate against another person on the ground of the making by the other person of a gift to—
a political party; or
a candidate in an election.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
In this section:
discriminate against, in relation to a person, means—
deny the person access to membership of any trade union, club or other body, whether incorporated or not; or
not allow the person to work or to continue to work; or
subject the person to any form of intimidation or coercion; or
subject the person to any other detriment.
