64 People who may conduct analysis
(1)
The analysis of a pollutant must be conducted by a person employed as an analyst in any of the following organisations:
(a)
an Australian university;
(b)
a laboratory operated by or on behalf of the Territory, the Commonwealth or a State;
(c)
a laboratory accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities if the laboratory’s scope of accreditation includes analysis of the pollutant;

(d)
a laboratory approved under subsection (2).
(2)
The Minister may approve a laboratory for this section.
(3)
An approval is a disallowable instrument.
