28 General interim orders—extension for non‑service of application

(1)

This section applies if the registrar adjourns a proceeding for a final order because the respondent has not been served with a copy of the application for the final order and a timing notice.

(2)

The registrar may also amend a general interim order made in relation to the application by extending it to take into account the delay caused by the adjournment.

(3)

The registrar must not extend a general interim order under subsection (2) for more than 8 weeks.
