Inspector must show identity card on exercising power

In force

(1)

If an inspector exercises a power under this Act that affects an individual, the inspector must first show the inspector’s identity card to the individual.

(2)

If an inspector exercises a power under this Act that affects a person, other than an individual, the inspector must first show the inspector’s identity card to an individual the inspector believes on reasonable grounds is an employee, officer or agent of the person.
