31 Cashless gaming system—offences relating to children
(1)
A licensee commits an offence if the licensee gives a cashless gaming card to a child.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(2)
A licensee commits an offence if the licensee—
(a)
operates a cashless gaming system on the licensee’s authorised premises; and
(b)
allows a child to use the cashless gaming system.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(3)
An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
Note A licensee must not allow a child to play a gaming machine—see the Act, s 156.
