Model confidentiality clause required for confidential text

(1)

The text of a notifiable contract must not be made confidential text unless—

(a)

a confidentiality clause that incorporates the substance of the model confidentiality clause, as far as is applicable, is included in the contract; and

(b)

the confidentiality clause does not limit disclosure of information to a greater extent than provided in the model confidentiality clause.

(2)

In this section:

model confidentiality clause means the model confidentiality clause set out in schedule 1.
