33 Board members—appointment
(1)
The members are to be appointed by the Minister.
Note
For laws about appointments, see the Legislation Act, pt 19.3.
(2)
A person appointed as chairperson or as a non-public employee member must not be a public employee.
(3)
A person appointed as deputy chairperson or as a public employee member must be a public employee.
(4)
The instrument appointing, or evidencing the appointment of, a member must state whether the member is appointed as chairperson, deputy chairperson, a public employee member or a non-public employee member.
