32P Health attorney must not benefit from health attorney’s decision
(1)
A health attorney must not—
(a)
accept a fee or other benefit for consenting, or refusing to consent, to a protected person participating in low-risk research; or
(b)
be involved in, or connected to, the research.
(2)
To remove any doubt, subsection (1) does not apply to any personal benefit to the health attorney because of an improvement in the protected person’s health as a result of participating in the research.
