91 Receipt for things seized
As soon as practicable after a thing is seized by an authorised person under this part, the authorised person must give a receipt for it to the person from whom it was seized.
If, for any reason, it is not practicable to comply with subsection (1), the authorised person must leave the receipt, secured conspicuously at the place of seizure under section 84 (Power to seize things).
A receipt under this section must include the following:
a description of the thing seized;
an explanation of why the thing was seized;
the authorised person’s name, and how to contact the authorised person;
if the thing is moved from the premises where it is seized—where the thing is to be taken.
