Part 5Additional matters for health service complaints
Division 5.2Relationship between commission, health profession boards and veterinary practitioners board
92 Referral of complaints to boards
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
the commission receives a complaint about a registered health practitioner or veterinary practitioner; or
(b)
as part of a complaint about a service—the commission considers the behaviour of a registered health practitioner or veterinary practitioner.
(2)
The commission must give the relevant board a copy of—
(a)
the complaint; and
(b)
all documents it has or gets relating to the complaint.
(3)
To remove any doubt, the referral of a complaint to a board does not prevent the commission from considering the complaint.
