57 Unnecessary use of lights and signals
A person commits an offence if—
the person is on a boat on a lake or in a lake area; and
the person displays or makes a light or other visual signal or makes a sound signal; and
the light or signal is of a kind used as a warning or guide to boats; and
the person does not have an adequate reason to display or make the light or signal.
Maximum penalty: 30 penalty units.

another person on the boat displays or makes a light or other visual signal or makes a sound signal; and
the light or signal is of a kind used as a warning or guide to boats; and
the other person does not have an adequate reason to display or make the light or signal.
