54 Joint tenants and tenants in common
(1)
A transfer to 2 or more persons shall not be registered unless those persons are expressed to be either joint tenants or tenants in common.
(2)
Where 2 or more persons listed in the register as joint proprietors, but not as tenants in common, they shall be taken to be registered as joint tenants.
(3)
The share of a person registered as a tenant in common must be included on the register.
