Continuing effect of obligations

In force

If, under a provision of an Act or statutory instrument, an act is required to be done, the obligation to do the act continues until the act is done even if—

(a)

the provision required the act to be done within a particular period or before a particular time, and the period has ended or the time has passed; or

(b)

someone has been convicted of an offence in relation to failure to do the act.
