196 Provision giving function gives power to exercise function
(1)
A provision of a law that gives a function to an entity also gives the entity the powers necessary and convenient to exercise the function.
Note Entity and exercise—see the dictionary, pt 1.
(2)
The powers given to the entity under subsection (1) are in addition to any other powers of the entity under the law.
