206 Appointments must be in writing etc
(1)
An appointment must be made, or evidenced, by writing (the instrument of appointment) signed by the appointer.
(2)
If a law provides for a maximum or minimum period of appointment, the instrument of appointment must state the period for which the appointment is made.
Examples—stated appointment periods
1 2 years
2 until age 65
