219 Appointer may decide terms of acting appointment etc
The appointer may—
decide the terms of the acting appointment, including any remuneration and allowances; and
end the appointment at any time.
Example—par (b)
A appoints X to act in a position for 10 months. Two months after X begins to act, A ends the appointment.

The power to end the acting appointment is exercisable in the same way, and subject to the same conditions, as the power to make the acting appointment.
Example
If the power to make the acting appointment is exercisable only on the recommendation of a body, the power to end the appointment is exercisable only on the recommendation of the body.
