Legislative Assembly (Office of the Legislative Assembly) Act 2012

The Executive may make regulations for this Act.

Note A regulation must be notified, and presented to the Legislative Assembly, under the Legislation Act.

The Executive must consult the Speaker before making a regulation for this Act.

Note 2 For example, the Legislation Act, dict, pt 1, defines the following terms:

 Speaker.

clerk means the person appointed as Clerk of the Legislative Assembly under section 9.

office—see section 5 (1).

Office of the Legislative Assembly means the Office of the Legislative Assembly established under section 5.

relevant Assembly committee means the standing committee of the Legislative Assembly whose responsibilities include the examination of matters relating to the internal administration and procedure of the Assembly.
