Notice of governing board decisions on review of ordinary remuneration
61 Notice of governing board decisions on review of ordinary remuneration
The governing board must, not later than 14 days after it makes a decision under section 60 (4), give written notice of the decision to—
if the decision relates to a return under section 49 (Quarterly returns by employers)—the employer who gave the return and the employee; or
if the decision relates to a return under section 54 (Quarterly returns by voluntary members)—the voluntary member.
If the decision is to fix another amount under section 60 (4) (b), the notice must include—
the total ordinary remuneration fixed by the governing board for the quarter; and
a statement about the effect of section 62 and section 63 (Variation of ordinary remuneration—payment of additional amounts).
Note The governing board’s decision to fix another amount under s 60 (4) (b) is a reviewable decision (see s 80, def reviewable decision), and the board must give a reviewable decision notice to the worker and, if the worker is an employee, the worker’s employer (see s 81).
