73 Prohibited things—tradespeople
(1)
This section applies to a tradesperson at a secure mental health facility for the purpose of providing a trade service at the facility.
(2)
Despite section 35 (Taking prohibited things into secure mental health facility), a tradesperson may, with approval of the director‑general, take a prohibited thing into a secure mental health facility for the purpose of providing a trades service at the facility.
(3)
The director-general may make a SMHF direction in relation to the provision of trade services at a secure mental health facility.
Note A SMHF direction is a notifiable instrument (see s 9 (4)).
