179 No entitlement to funeral benefits—death of foreign national outside Australia
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
a person dies as a result of a motor accident; and
(b)
the person is a foreign national; and
(c)
the person’s death happens outside Australia.
Note
Foreign national—see the dictionary.
(2)
The person who has paid, or is liable to pay, the funeral expenses is not entitled to funeral benefits in relation to the person’s death.
