281 Thing not done within 7-day period—court may make orders
(1)
On application for judgment under section 279 or section 280, the court may make the orders sought.
(2)
In considering the application, the court must not make an order against the late party if the party establishes that the party had a reasonable excuse for failing to do the required thing within the 7‑day period.
