284 Legal costs and fees payable by claimants and insurers
(1)
A regulation may prescribe the legal costs and fees payable by claimants and insurers in relation to motor accident claims.
(2)
If a legal cost or fee is prescribed under subsection (1), a lawyer who provides a service to which the cost or fee relates to a claimant or insurer in relation to a motor accident claim is only entitled to be paid, or to recover, the prescribed cost or fee for the service.
