299 Selecting for registered vehicle—renewal of registration
If a registered operator of a registered motor vehicle applies for renewal of registration of the motor vehicle, the registered operator must also—
(a)
select, in a way approved by the road transport authority, a licensed insurer to be the MAI insurer for an MAI policy for the motor vehicle for the period of renewed registration; and
(b)
pay to the road transport authority the MAI premium for the MAI policy for the period of renewed registration.
