306 When MAI policy takes effect—trader’s plates
If the road transport authority issues a trader’s plate to a person, an MAI policy comes into force for a motor vehicle to which the trader’s plate is attached—
(a)
when the trader’s plate is attached to the motor vehicle; and
(b)
only if the trader’s plate is a valid trader’s plate.
