423 Nominal defendant is insurer if MAI insurer insolvent
(1)
If an MAI insurer for an MAI policy becomes an insolvent insurer, the nominal defendant becomes the insurer for the policy.
(2)
However, subsection (1) does not apply to an MAI policy that is transferred to a licensed insurer (other than an insolvent insurer).
