13A Child may apply for protection order in same application as parent
(1)
This provision applies if a child and the child’s parent are each an affected person in relation to the same or similar personal violence by a respondent.
(2)
An application for a protection order by the child may be included in an application for a protection order by the child’s parent.
Note
The court may hear the application of the child and the child’s parent separately (see s 55C).
