Planning Act 2023

If the territory planning authority accepts an EIS under section 121 (2) (a), the authority must prepare a report (an EIS assessment report) that—

confirms that the authority is satisfied in relation to the matters mentioned in section 118 (4); and

may contain additional information about how the authority came to be satisfied in relation to those matters.

The territory planning authority must—

if an EIS is given to the Minister under section 125—give the EIS assessment report to the Minister; and

if a public health EIS is given to the Public Health Act Minister under section 125—give the EIS assessment report to the Public Health Act Minister.

An EIS assessment report must be published on the authority website.
