37 Notice of proposed disciplinary action
The registrar may propose to take disciplinary action (the proposed disciplinary action) against a professional engineer if the registrar is satisfied that a ground for disciplinary action exists in relation to the engineer.
If the registrar proposes to take disciplinary action against a professional engineer, the registrar must give the engineer a written notice (a show cause notice) that states—
the grounds on which the registrar considers disciplinary action may be taken against the engineer; and
details of the proposed disciplinary action; and
that the engineer may give the registrar a written submission about the proposed disciplinary action not later than 28 days after the day the engineer is given the notice.
