43 Revoking immediate suspension or cancellation
The registrar may revoke an immediate suspension or cancellation—
on written application by the person whose registration is suspended or cancelled; or
on the registrar’s own initiative.
An application by a person under subsection (1) (a) must be made not later than 14 days after the day the person is given the immediate action notice.
The registrar may revoke the immediate suspension or cancellation under subsection (1) if—
for an application made under subsection (1) (a)—
the application was made in accordance with subsection (2); and
the registrar has considered any reasons given by the person requesting the revocation; and
the registrar has considered any matter prescribed by regulation.
If the registrar revokes the immediate suspension or cancellation, the registrar must give the person a written notice that states—
that the suspension or cancellation has been revoked; and
the day on which the revocation takes effect.
