Conditions of entry and removal

In force

(1)

The director-general may determine standards in relation to conditions of entry to, and requirements for removal from, a pool facility.

(2)

A standard may make provision in relation to the following:

(a)

conditions of entry, including––

(i)

health and hygiene requirements; and

(ii)

the minimum age for entry without adult supervision; and

(iii)

in relation to assistance animals;

(b)

rules of behaviour, including behaviour that may cause a person to be excluded or removed from a pool facility;

(c)

procedures and grounds for excluding people, including in relation to operational matters.

Examples––pars (b) and (c)

 possession of alcohol

 smoking

 exceeding occupancy or pool loading

(3)

A determination is a notifiable instrument.

Note

A determination may apply, adopt or incorporate a law of another jurisdiction or instrument, as in force from time to time (see s 56).
