116 Appointment as unattached officer
A person may be appointed as an unattached officer under section 68 (1) (Appointment to vacant office) if the head of service states, in writing—
(a)
the administrative unit in which the person will be included; and
(b)
a classification for the person, having regard to—
(i)
the functions to be exercised by the person; and
(ii)
the person’s qualifications; and
(c)
the hours of attendance for the person.
