Automatic cancellation of registration

In force

(1)

This section applies if—

(a)

a registration is in force in relation to a radiation source that is a regulated radiation source; and

(b)

the radiation source becomes a prohibited radiation source.

(2)

The registration of the radiation source is automatically cancelled.

(3)

The chief health officer must give written notice to the person who was the registered owner within 7 days after the day the registration is cancelled.
