22 Consecutive tenancy agreements
This section applies if—
a bond is being held in relation to a residential tenancy agreement that terminates or is terminated; and
1 or more tenants under the terminated agreement continue to occupy the premises under a consecutive tenancy agreement.
The lessor must not require or accept a bond in relation to the consecutive tenancy agreement unless a bond release application has been made under division 3.4 (Release of bond money) in relation to the bond for the terminated agreement.
