A warrant issued under this part must—
authorise any police officer to take appropriate action, with any necessary and reasonable assistance, to evict a named person, or a named person and everyone else on the premises, within the period stated in the warrant; and
require a police officer to give the named person not less than 2 days notice of the proposed eviction.
Subsection (1) (b) does not apply if the registrar believes on reasonable grounds that—
there are exceptional circumstances; and
it would be inappropriate to give the notice required by subsection (1) (b).
A regulation may prescribe what is, or is not, appropriate action to be taken under a warrant.
