206 Time extension for people with disabilities
This section applies to a driver if—
the driver displays in or on the vehicle a current mobility parking scheme authority; and
the driver complies with the conditions (if any) of the authority.
The driver may park continuously on a length of road, or in an area, to which a permissive parking sign applies—
in a parking area for electric‑powered vehicles or a parking area for charging of electric‑powered vehicles—for 30 minutes longer than the period indicated on the permissive parking sign; or
in any other case, for the longer of—
if the time limit on the sign is 30 minutes or less—2 hours; or
if the time limit on the sign is longer than 30 minutes—an unlimited period.
Subsection (2) (b) does not apply if the driver parks in a parking area for people with disabilities.
