23 Offences relating to existing heavy vehicle accreditation
An amendment to schedule 1, part 1.2 made by the Road Transport (Offences) Amendment Regulation 2026 (No 2) does not apply in relation to an existing heavy vehicle accreditation.
Schedule 1, part 1.2, as in force immediately before 1 August 2026, continues to apply in relation to an existing heavy vehicle accreditation.

The Heavy Vehicle National Law (ACT), as in force immediately before 1 August 2026, continues to apply in relation to an existing heavy vehicle accreditation until the accreditation expires or is cancelled (see the Law, s 761).
