28 Director-general may exempt travel
(1)
The director-general may, on application or on their own initiative, exempt a circumstance of travel from a provision of this part.
(2)
In making an exemption, the director-general must consider the requirements of any relevant code of practice under the Animal Welfare Act 1992, section 22 or section 23.
(3)
An exemption is a disallowable instrument.
