Placement of permanent brands—Act, s 26

In force

(1)

A permanent brand may be placed on a horse in the following places:

(a)

near-shoulder;

(b)

off-shoulder;

(c)

near-rump, hip and thigh;

(d)

off-rump, hip;

(e)

near-ribs and saddle;

(f)

off-ribs and saddle.

(2)

A permanent brand may be placed on large stock, other than horses, in the following places:

(a)

near-rump, hip or thigh;

(b)

off-rump, hip or thigh;

(c)

near-back and ribs;

(d)

off-back and ribs;

(e)

near-shoulder;

(f)

off-shoulder;

(g)

near-loin;

(h)

off-loin.
