Return of registration certificate on cancellation and suspension

In force

(1)

This section applies to a person whose registration is suspended or cancelled.

(2)

The surveyor-general may, by written notice, require the person to return to the surveyor-general, as soon as practicable but not later than 14 days after the day the person receives the notice, the person’s registration certificate.

(3)

A person must comply with a requirement made of the person under subsection (2).

Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.

(4)

An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
