19 Sale of cigarettes
(1)
A person commits an offence if the person sells cigarettes (including cigarettes made from a herbal product) in a quantity of less than 20.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
(2)
A person commits an offence if the person sells cigarettes (including cigarettes made from a herbal product) in a package designed—
(a)
to hold less than 20 cigarettes; or
(b)
to be, or be readily able to be, divided into portions each of which contains less than 20 cigarettes.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
(3)
An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
