38 Approval of totalisator system
(1)
The commission may approve a totalisator system, or a change to an approved totalisator system.
(2)
A licensee must not use a totalisator system if the system is not approved by the commission.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
(3)
A licensee must not make a change to an approved totalisator system if the change is not approved by the commission.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
(4)
The commission may approve a totalisator system on conditions the commission considers appropriate.
(5)
An approval under this section is a notifiable instrument.
