Totalisator Act 2014

This section applies if the Minister has given a direction to a licensee under section 43 (Directions by Minister—integrity of totalisator compromised).

The Minister may by written notice immediately suspend the licensee’s licence if the Minister considers the suspension is necessary.

The suspension takes effect on the day the Minister gives the notice to the licensee.

The licence may be suspended until—

a date or event stated in the notice; or

if stated in the notice, the Minister—

is satisfied that the direction has been complied with; and

gives a further written notice to the licensee revoking the suspension.
