42 Schools of anatomy
The Minister may authorise the conduct within a specified educational institution of a school of anatomy for the teaching and study of anatomy and for the carrying on of the practice of anatomy.
An authorisation under subsection (1) may provide that a school of anatomy is authorised only for the teaching and study of the anatomy of a specified part of the human body.
The Minister may authorise the carrying out of anatomical examinations and the teaching and study of the anatomy of the whole or a specified part of the human body at a place, not other than a place within an educational institution, specified in the authorisation.
A place specified in an authorisation under subsection (3) is taken to be a school of anatomy for this Act.
Note A reference to an Act includes a reference to the statutory instruments made or in force under the Act, including regulations (see Legislation Act, s 104).
An authorisation under this section is a notifiable instrument.
Note A notifiable instrument must be notified under the Legislation Act.
