43 Cost of disposal of things forfeited
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
a person is convicted, or found guilty, of an offence against this Act in relation to something forfeited to the Territory under this part; and
(b)
the thing is connected with an offence against this Act; and
(c)
the person was the owner of the thing immediately before its forfeiture.

(2)
If this section applies, costs incurred by or on behalf of the Territory in relation to the lawful disposal of the thing (including storage costs) are a debt owing to the Territory by the person.
