45 Tree protection directions—service
(1)
A written tree protection direction may be given to the lessee or occupier of the land where a protected tree is located by leaving it, secured conspicuously, on or at the land.
(2)
A written tree protection direction may be given to anyone carrying out an activity that may affect a protected tree by leaving it, secured conspicuously, at the place where the activity is being carried out.
